Strategic Follow-Up with PA to the PS for Trade on Festival Support

Today, Head of the Secretariat Mr. Odari Murabwa and I, Dion Wandera (Head of Research), had a consultative and robust meeting with Madam Regina, the Personal Assistant to the Principal Secretary for Trade, to fast-track the “asks” we had previously presented to the PS.

Key Outcomes:

1. Madam Regina affirmed that she would extend the conversation to embassies within her network to mobilize support for the Youth Devolution Festival.
2. She pledged to work closely with us moving forward and expressed her willingness to personally attend the Festival.
3. We agreed to send the Festival’s official budget and an invitation letter addressed to the PS.
4. She also committed to including our documentation and proposals in conversations with any dignitary visiting the PS's office.

This meeting builds on our strategic engagements with key government stakeholders and strengthens institutional support for the upcoming 2025 Youth Devolution Festival.
